Naan, Roti & Parathas

Naan is a leavened, oven-baked flatbread found in the cuisines mainly of Western Asia, South Asia, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Caribbean.

Roti is an unleavened flatbread made of whole wheat flour. It is light and has no filling and is served with veggies, pulses, or meat preparations.

Paratha is different from naan, roti, and chapati in that it is less an accompaniment to dishes as it is its own standalone dish. It’s pan-fried and more decadent.
